Check Out our Saturday Rides

On Saturday mornings, we welcome guests to join the club to develop their skills and fitness. The Saturday ride is intended to be a controlled pace in a non-competitive group riding environment. These rides are a great way to learn proper pace line and group riding techniques. The Saturday rides vary, but plan to be about 22-25 miles long at an "A" pace of 18-20 miles per hour, or pacing in the other groups at 15-19 miles per hour.

Veloce Santiago is open to men and women of all ages and fitness levels. Our club members are competitive, yet complimentary, helpful, positive and skillful. This makes us stand out as one of the best, most cohesive and safest clubs in all of Southern California. Although not required, Team membership can be attained by qualifying in these areas: 1. Safety 2. Etiquette 3. Character Once accepted to join the club, riders pay a yearly fee and receive a beautiful Veloce Santiago Club Jersey. Supporting club members also receive discounts on merchandise and training clinics at Santiago Cycling bicycle shop.

Thanksgiving Day Ride

Photos and Hi-Def Movies from the Veloce Santiago Club Thanksgiving Day "Turkey Burner" Ride of November 26, 2009 which took us out Portola into a stiff headwind at FULL GAS, out to El Toro Road and through Santiago Canyon. The weather was amazing: we started at 49 Degrees and before you knew it, it had warmed up 79 Degrees!! "Running my rig around ninety-five, My heart's beating like a jackhammer."
